Yhe already mentioned Crisis mode! Exit from cover and aim carefully, but don't let them hit you back! Visually the game utilizes classic Rm2k3 graphics, lots of edits and clearly also sprites and chipsets taken from Pokemon games (I am not as expert, so I do not know from which games exactly).
And there are also some boss fights of course! Some of these parts are good, others not so much (I did not like the army combat since it's more or less a rock-paper-scissor minigame) anyway they provide at least some variety. And that's just the basics! The game in fact contains lots of minigames and side activities, like driving vehicles, using a snowboard, the "Crisis mode" where Colt has to exit from cover and shoot after aiming with a sight, or army battles.
Progressing the game will also let Colt earn more money, rescuing civilian and finding secrets is also rewarded by items and extra money, but the main mission is slways the same: kill pokemons! The base game is simple: move around and shoot enemies before they reach you, open the menu to use consumable or to switch weapons if you need. Game is simple, aim and shoot every pokemon you find! And yes, sometimes Npcs will join Colt in his adventure! We start the game with a gun and a good budget to buy more firearms, upgrades and rations (that are used to heal), luckily we don't have to worry about ammunition since Colt has an infinite supply of bullets (and time stops when he reloads, so this isn't an issue at all).
